Interment at St. Michael's

Only individuals with existing interment rights based on Heritage Family Rights may be buried in St. Michael's Cemetery. The links contained in the following paragraphs are to the Operating Procedures and Regulations .

Section IV contains information regarding interment requests and Appendix “D” is an interment request form.

Anyone wishing to be interred in St. Michael's Cemetery, should have their Funeral Director complete the Right of Interment Form as part ofthe pre-planning and present it to the Foundation for approval. Funeral home directors, please fill in all information and mail it with payment.

Alternately, individuals or families who wish to be buried in St. Michael’s Cemetery may complete a Right of Interment Form and submit the request along with all pertinent documentation, for approval.

Once the Foundation approves a request all documentation will remain on file until needed. Please note, no documentation will be returned to the applicant. Do not submit originals. Documents must be certified by a Notary Public. In the event the request is disapproved, the application will not be returned to the applicant, but the applicant will be informed of the decision.

A fee of $2500, payable to the Foundation, is assessed at the time of interment. This is payable to:
